Recently, we added aquamarine engagement rings to deBebians. We took our most popular style engagement rings and now offer them with aquamarine center stones. Take a look for yourself to view all of our aquamarine engagement rings. We offer diamond halo styles, solitaire styles, and even diamond accented styles. Your choices are endless. Keep in mind too, that even if you see another ring on our site not in this section, we can most likely set an aquamarine into the ring for you!
Today I want to talk more about what exactly is aquamarine. Aquamarine is the blue-green variety of the species beryl. You may have already read my other blogs where I have previously mentioned beryl when talking about morganite. Morganite and emerald are two other varieties of beryl. Anyway, back to aquamarine! 🙂 The name basically means “sea water” because of its close resemblance to the color of the sea. The color of an aquamarine gemstone can range from light blue to dark blue and even bluish-green. The Mohs scale ranks aquamarine as 7 ½ to 8. It is also the birthstone for the month of March. Gem quality aquamarine is typically found in Brazil, but can also be found around the world in Russia, Australia, Burma, Madagascar, China, and India, just to name a few.
Here are a few of my new favorite aquamarine engagement rings:
